Metallers Instanzia Show How Progressive Metal and Epic Metal Should Be Played

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

INSTANZIA - Ghosts Metalodic

This melodic, progressive metal quartet, going by the name of Instanzia hail from the frozen and icy landscapes of Montreal, Quebec. Their sound is somewhat reminiscent of Rhapsody Of Fire and one time singer (DC Cooper) of melodic rockers Royal Hunt. Instanzia's style of progressive/melodic metal can be described as a fine mixture of finely refined epic proportions blended in with progressive influences to give an interesting character and charm to their music.

Singer Alexis Woodbury sings from his soul, with so much conviction and emotion, you can't help but feel his pain. Yes, this is for real, people, this is not your average run-of-the-mill heavy metal group.

Woodbury's solid harmonies and superb arrangements let the music breathe here as it does not sound so overbearing and achieves a tasteful balance among all eight tracks found on their debut CD, "Ghosts".

There is something about his vocals, which gives Instanzia's music so much depth and feeling you can immerse your ears into. Moreover, for those of you into heaviness, this album has tons of heavy guitar rhythms and double bass passages that'll make your head bang out of control. Now, if you prefer melodic riffs and articulately structured lead runs, you're in for one hell of a treat here. Their solos are breathtaking to a certain degree (nothing like virtuoso guitarists Yngwie Malmsteen or Paul Gilbert), and will definitely throw your auditory senses in for a cool tailspin. This is something your ear drums will dance and beat to, so prepare to experience some of the best progressive and melodic metal to come from Canadian shores in a long while.

In addition, to their unique musicianship and interesting song arrangements, their album art, of course, ridden with "Ghosts" will send chills down your spine as well. With almost one hours worth of music on this disc, you're not going to be disappointed especially if you love groups like Dream Theater, Savatage, Iced Earth, Firewind, Judas Priest, and even early Metallica too.

Personally, I was very impressed with this young band's first studio outing, and the future only seems very, very promising for this Canadian heavy, progressive metal foursome.

Here are the eight songs featured on this CD: "Omen", "Ghosts Of The Past", "Power Of The Mind", "Charmin Deceiver", "Heaven Hell", "A Genius Who Believes", "The Key" and "The Desert Fox."

My favorite of all eight numbers featured here is "A Genius Who Believes" with its head banging rhythms intertwined with majestic synthesizer episodes and vocals that'll take you back to your dark past - yes this song is eerie but it is one of the stand out tracks here. "Ghosts" is an excellent release and should not be passed up as it will rock your world.

Finding Paint Code - How to on Toyota Vehicles

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

Where do I find my paint code for touch up paint?

To find your late model Toyota paint code is easy: Look for the black or white door sticker which contains your vehicles VIN (vehicle identification number). This sticker will be on the driver's door jamb, not the door itself. When you look at the sticker look to the bottom left, you will see the letters C/TR. Beneath or to the side of them you will find a 3 digit code then another code. The first 3 digit code is your color code. Easy!

Just some side info on VIN stickers:

The first three digits or "characters" are the World Manufacturer Identifier (WMI) this helps tell where the car or truck was made. A lot of folks used to check the VIN on Toyota cars for the "J" in the VIN to make sure they were getting a Japanese Toyota

The first character tells the nation of origin, or the final point of assembly. Instance, cars made in the U.S. start with 1, 4 or 5, Canada is 2, Mexico is 3 and Japan is J.

The second character is "T" for the manufacturer: Toyota.

The third character indicates the vehicle's type or manufacturing division. Different codes for different factories.

Vehicle Descriptor Section:

Characters four through nine are the Vehicle Descriptor Section (VDS).

Characters four through eight tell you about the car or truck, things like model, body type, safety restraint system, transmission type, and engine code.

Character nine, the "check" digit, is used to detect invalid VINs based on a way complicated mathematical formula that was developed by the US Dept of Transportation.

Vehicle Identifier Section:

Digits 10 through 17 make up the Vehicle Identifier Section (VIS).

Character ten tells the model year. The letters from B-X correspond to the model years starting with 1981, with X bringing up the rear with 2000; model years 2001 and up are indicated with numbers, starting with the number 1. There is no I, O, Q, U or Z. Confused? Here's a list of the model years: B=81, C=82, D=83, E=84, F=85, G=86, H=87, J=88, K=89, L=90, M=91, N=92, P=93, R=94, S=95, T=96, V=97, W=98, X=99, Y=00, 1=01, 2=02, 3=03, 4=04, 5=05, 6=06, 7=07, 8=08, 9=09, A=2010.

The letter or number in position 11 tells which manufacturing plant in which the vehicle was assembled. Each automaker has its own set of plant codes.

The last 6 digits (positions 12 through 17) are the production sequence numbers. This is the number given to your car on the assembly line.

Thanks for the read!

How to Ensure Dissatisfaction is a Key to Success

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

In the important areas of our lives, dissatisfaction is a positive - a way to constantly improve. At the same time, dissatisfaction has its limitations. Applying dissatisfaction to many areas of life just leads to frustration and regret.

In my first job, as a salesman with Procter and Gamble, at the annual sales meeting the Vice President of Sales got up and gave a speech on "divine discontent." He told us we should never be satisfied with what is, we should always be striving for more, we should be aiming for the stars. We all got up and cheered and applauded. That was years ago, and the message in that speech has always stuck with me. He was right - being content with the status quo as a salesman is a recipe for failure.

We are constantly given the message that to stay in place is to lose ground; that today is all we have; that the future can be better, if we make it so. Those are all terrific messages and beliefs, and shape the behaviors and motivators of achievers.

But taken too far, those messages and beliefs can become a trap that can lead to all kinds of problems. Problems that grow out of the habit of thought called dissatisfaction. And that dissatisfaction - that habit of thought that can be so positively powerful, can lead to failure, dropping out, leaving things unfinished, procrastination, perfectionism and constant frustration.

In the new Woody Allen movie, " Vicky Cristina Barcelona," in a very intense scene, Maria Elena, Penelope Cruz's character, accuses Cristina, Scarlett Johannson's character, of being addicted to dissatisfaction.

"Addicted to Dissatisfaction." What a great description! That state of mind where everything can be better - or different. That place where whatever is being done is not good enough. Where there is always something more important, more exciting, more fulfilling, more valuable, more rewarding. It's being in that emotional place where nothing seems to be right, where everything is just a little bit off, a little bit less than desired.

We've all met people who seem to focus only on what didn't happen, what wasn't just right, what didn't meet standards, what was a little off balance. Their dissatisfaction just sucks the life out of whatever it is they have focused on.

And when dissatisfaction extends to the unimportant areas, and it's easy for that to happen, dissatisfaction becomes a destructive force. And recognizing that it has happened is often difficult. But "Addiction to Dissatisfaction"can negatively affect relationships, performance, health.

How to focus dissatisfaction on the important few, and adopt a more tolerant approach to the unimportant many - to get rid of an "Addiction To Dissatisfaction"?

The first step is recognizing the symptoms. Here are ten key symptoms of "Addiction To Dissatisfaction.".

1 - Being unable to separate the really important from the not really important. Treating everything the same, with the same intensity and focus.

2 - Increasing a performance expectation as soon as soon as the old expectation is met - without regard to its real importance.

3 - Criticizing yourself for not doing more - whatever that means. And then extending that criticism to other people, situations and solutions.

4 - Finding it difficult if not impossible to celebrate victories because they fall short of the ideal.

5 - Considering "good enough" to be unacceptable performance - on anything.

6 - Being convinced that you could have done much better if you had more time, more training, more focus, more resources. Feeling that what you did wasn't your best work.

7 - Feeling that the people you associate with, work with, live with are not quite up to snuff, Not quite what you imagined, not quite what you expected, not quite what you hoped for.

8 - Striving for the ideal solution, behavior, outcome, and being satisfied with nothing less, without measuring the importance.

9 - Judging accomplishment against the ideal, and finding fault with the difference between the two - without evaluating the importance of the difference - or the accomplishment.

10 - Thinking that there are more important things to be done than what is being done now - without being able to really define what those more important things are.

Once recognized, how can you overcome this Addiction to Dissatisfaction while keeping dissatisfaction as a key to improvement in the important things?

It starts with being aware that this habit of thought is imbedded in motivators and behaviors. Start by reviewing the key symptoms, and determine if they describe you. You can't fix something that you don't know exists on a conscious level.

And then:
- Treat only the very few really important things as worthy of constant striving. Constant striving on everything just leads to never doing anything very well.

- Realize and accept that "good enough" ain't bad - almost all of the time.

- Create SMART goals - for only the few important things and be satisfied with meeting the goals and then celebrate meeting them. SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic/Relevant, Time framed.

- Create goals that align with the goals of others who have influence over what you consider important - like your job. Continue to resist the very human impulse to add goals - keep the truly important to 3 to 5 goals - no more.

- Understand and accept that "meeting goals" for SMART goals is excellent performance.

- Beware of goal creep - that self inflicted monster that keeps moving the bar higher and higher - even when it makes little if any sense.

- Accept that there are areas in your life where performance is not what it is in the core areas - that doesn't mean failure - it means being human.

- Be as focused as that fabled fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes. In one scene he tells his assistant, Dr Watson, that he doesn't care if the moon goes around the sun or the earth goes around the sun. It makes no difference to him - all that knowledge could do to him would be to divert him from his truly important work. That work - in his case - is being the best detective he can be. Focus works to brush aside dissatisfaction with the trivial many.

Then keep striving - on the few things where striving will make a difference. Watch that Addiction To Dissatisfaction disappear, and be replaced by effective, focused accomplishment.

Growing Your Business Through Social Media

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

There is a new hype about advertising and spreading the word about your business. Old fashioned advertising doesn't work, at least not like it used to. Placing an ad in the newspaper is just not enough. Now you put it in front of millions of people through social media marketing networks, and it is archived for years to come.

So, what is social media and how does it work? In short how can you use social media to grow your business?

Social Media is an interaction through web-based and mobile technologies; it is all those sites we use for fun and for business: Facebook, Twitter, WordPress, YouTube, LinkedIn and so on. Having a business advertised is no longer one-way and static technology; now you can create and distribute your content through the web using various social media options. Whilst there are potential costs, in the main it is free, not time consuming, easily accessible and interactive. Though simple as it is, it's crucial that you invest some time and skills to work it to your advantage. One of the main attractions of social media in growing your business is that it gives small businesses and entrepreneurs the equal opportunity to make a big name along side already existing large and well-known corporations.

Social media comes in many forms - blog, microblog, social networks, media-sharing sites, social bookmarking and voting sites, review sites, forums and virtual worlds are only some of the most popular.

A blog is best described as writing articles or posts. Its software allows different social features that include blogrolls, subscriptions and comments making it ideal for marketing purposes.

Through blogs, a company speaks to its customers about the new and cool things it does. Posts are what make the blogs; they can be any length from few words to many pages but to make the most of it, sticking to one topic is crucial. The most important element of blogging is consistency. Making sure that you blog regularly by setting a clear goal of posting either daily, or weekly for a whole year. Long posts have to be structured in such a way that they include scannable items like images, lists and subheadings. Use comments made by readers as positive or negative feedback. Use permalinks or permanent links to link your blog to other social media platforms. Making sure your site image establishes authority, themes and designs as well as content is what attracts readers and makes your blog trustworthy to read regularly. Getting to know other bloggers in associated industries or your area of expertise increases visibility of your own blog. Use them to help grow your business.

Micro blogging is type of blogging that limits the size of posts to a certain number of characters. The best known is Twitter, which has a limit of 140 characters. It is easy to use and requires little investment of time, but it quickly creates buzz and insight. Through micro blogging you can promote your other social media content, which contains more news and information, informs about new blog posts and keep your readers in the know about your business. Having a good avatar and bio ensures an optimized following and tweeting, allowing the people you already know to tweet about your business for others that may be interested in your business news.

Social networks such as Facebook, MySpace and LinkedIn allows you to build direct and personal relationships with your customers. While for people it is customary to create profiles, a company should create pages. Social networks offer a wide range of special features, which are important to use in order to have the best possible introduction of your company's business. Make sure that you don't just rebuild your website, offer content that is exclusive for social network. Interaction is the key component to all social media, through social networks your customers can create content about your company making it organic and more convincing. Another step to help grow your business.

Media sharing are sites that allow users to upload and share multimedia content. Available today through a wide range of digital cameras and camcorders, media-sharing has become extremely popular. Most known sites for media sharing are YouTube and Flickr.

In short, with media sharing you can grow your business by creating and distributing multimedia content to millions of viewers. As with all other social media, it is important to create a name that is short and easily searchable, high quality and eye-catching content making it likable to viewers and in the top of the media sharing search options

To summarize, whichever is your preferred social media, be it one or all interconnected, the key ingredients to utilise them to grow your business, is to have a clear plan of what and how will you attract consumers to your company, creating interesting and engaging content that makes consumers want to interact through commenting on, or recommending it and therefore spreading the word on your business.

Your customers are using social media as is your competition. With almost no cost, easy to get started, it can make an enormous financial impact on your business.

How to Decorate Your Home in the Greatest Way

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

Whether you have just moved into a new home, or you are in the process of building your dream house, or perhaps it is an investment property that you want to make as attractive as possible: the interior designing can be one of the most exciting aspects of your new home and you should make the most of the opportunity. Here are some ideas to help inspire you to decorate your home to impress.

1. Floors.
It's one of the most essential aspects of the design and feel of your home. Depending on what is already there, you need to decide whether you want to rip up the old carpet and find out what's underneath, polish and maintain those gorgeous wooden floors, or lay down new carpet.

Wooden floors look great but remember it can make the house a little cooler come the winter months, and you do need to be careful to maintain the polish and watch out for high heels and scuffing. At the same time, you no longer have to be afraid of staining the carpet, and wooden floors can add character to a home without being too overpowering.

When selecting carpet, think about whether this will be the same throughout the entire house, and decide whether you want to make a statement or keep it neutral. Blood red carpet could look fabulous but will limit your choice of other furnishings. A tan colour can be the easiest to maintain and will work well with most other colour schemes.

2. Walls.
Are you going to paint or will you use wallpaper?

Wallpaper has been making a comeback lately and there are some really exciting trends that could help you with inspiration for the overall look of your house - so don't scratch off the possibility straight away.

Of course if you have quite a damp house or you are planning to use wallpaper in the bathroom, just remember that too much moisture can cause wallpaper to peel - which is not an attractive look anywhere!

Painting means you will be able to redo the walls at any time in the future and not have to worry about what's underneath. It can also provide you with a great canvas for hanging artwork or prints if you so wish.

Painted walls are also easier to refresh if you want to keep your property investment looking cutting edge - you won't have to worry about stripping off old paper, or not being able to find the same colour to match.

3. Furniture.
One of the most exciting aspects of your home decorating! Shop around, research online and head to old auction houses or boutiques because you never know where you might find your signature couch or other piece of furniture.

If you wanted to be particularly creative and perhaps your budget is a bit tight, you can go on the look out for cheap chairs and other furnishings that you can then paint or do-up yourself.

They may not match each other perfectly, but you can add your own touches so that they flow anyway; for example, you could use the same fabric on all the dining chair cushions even though all the chairs themselves are different. They will look like part of a deliberately eclectic set.

4. Statement pieces.
If you don't want to go full on with the walls, floors and furniture, choosing a few statement pieces will help make your home look fabulous. You might opt for a gorgeous rug, a large antique mirror, a signature art piece, a bunch of cute prints or perhaps even an oriental screen of some sort.

Lighting, curtains, bookcases and other such basic items can also provide an opportunity for you to wow your visitors. It isn't often that you redecorate so you really need to make sure you use this opportunity the best you can!

5. Garden.
Now, this may not count as "interior" designing, but it is what you will see when you look out your window every morning. Why not create a fantastic view if you can?

Spending time designing the garden doesn't just have to be for visual pleasure, but can be functional as well - having your own herb garden can be very practical and will save you time and money.

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

When we go for the security applications then there are many applications that are available on market that are challenging. They have the perfect defense technique from the all the latest and dangerous threats including all the virus, Malware, root kits and all other different kinds of potential threats. One of the program that lies in this category is the My Security Shield which is a new version of infamous security master AV Trojan. If you examine it closely then will find that this application uses those same methods that are earlier used by its predecessor, that namely have the ability to disable your existing ativirus and other Malware removal products.

Not only this it is also capable to disable the windows Task manager so that you will be unable to kill those process that are taking too much memory of PC or that are useless but still running. Since My Security Shield uses the random process names, therefore it is very difficult to detect and even if you are able to get an antivirus product up and running. So better is to remove My Security Shield and use some better solutions since there are many available options present.

Till now it is not clear why it occurs but if a product disables the Windows Task Manager then it can not said to be a windows supporting application. If you are not getting this problem then you are a lucky one. Consider a situation with the My Security Shield:

  1. Go to Run and type Shell:Common app data. This will open the Application Data Folder

The Great I AM Principle

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

Neville Goddard, the great metaphysical thinker and teacher from the early 1900's was convinced that scripture taught the idea that man had to think from the end. He called it the state of "I AM." He said that all of Scripture was a blueprint for man's, since all the stories in the Bible were mythical and parables demonstrating the power of thought. He spoke of the "universal law of reversibility." The Law of Reversibility enables each of us to foresee transformation. That means is you know how you will feel once you achieve your objective then inversely you know what state you can realize were you to awaken such a feeling in yourself.

We are the product of our thoughts. God says "I am" and provides His qualification - "that I am". We say "I am", and qualify it otherwise by saying "sad", "happy", "content", "sick" - how long a list shall we make? And coming to believe those thoughts, we become sad, happy, content, sick, etc. For the spiritual being, no qualification is necessary - "I am" - and if qualification is necessary - "that I am". If we practice being spiritual, we will learn that qualification is, in the end, not needed, and if needed, should identify itself as Godlike. We will thus become what we practice. Till that day, we use qualifications as an aid to understanding and as a means of practical application. "I am" "spiritual."

It is said that looking for God is like looking for your own eyes. You find it when you stop looking. You are that. You are already that.

YHWH is the name of God in the Hebrew language. In the Old Testament, God revealed His name to the prophet Moses, and interpreted its meaning as "I Am That I AM". He also referred to Himself by name, as "I AM".

The name YHWH (also known as Jehovah, Yehovah, Jah, and Yahweh) has been called the Lost Word, the Tetragrammaton (the term tetragrammaton is from Greek, meaning "[a word] having four letters") refers to the name of the God of Israel YHWH, and in the Old Testament, has been replaced with the words LORD and GOD, in large and small capital letters. In the Gospel of Truth, a non-official scripture found in Nag Hamadi in 1945, YHWH is said to be the original word, as since God is uncreated and eternal, so His name must be also. After nearly two thousand years, the Catholic Church has printed the New Jerusalem Bible which uses the name Yaweh for God.

In The I AM Principle, the depth of the meaning and the resulting effect this has on mankind is explored, as the Creator and the created have a mysterious bond which is united in the Holy name of God. As "I AM That I Am", describes each one of us as unique and unforgotten, it also establishes the link for us with our immortal spirit and with the spirit of our Creator, allowing us to experience the Glory and power that we were created to possess.

Every conflict resolves itself as the world simply mirrors the being we are being. Our imagination literally is the God-seed. Neville tool Psalm 82:6, "Ye are gods," as the literal truth of man's condition. Neville said: "The Lord of hosts will not respond to your wish until you have assumed the feeling of already being what you want to be, for acceptance is the channel of His action."

I have been enrolled in a Mystery School for many years now, slowly making my way through the weekly lessons. One of our programs was about TAROT, and learning each of the cards and its spiritual meaning. I was profoundly moved and surprised to learn that the final card in the Tarot deck is connected to the I AM principle. The last Tarot card, called THE WORLD, suggest world consciousness, and being in tune with the universe. And in this consciousness the whole universe is realized as the body of the I AM. The face of the bull on the card is turned away from the lion and from the center of the design to indicate that the forces pictured by the World move toward concrete manifestation.

There is a wreath depicted on the card, representing the Great Name as the fundamental principle of form for the entire cosmos in representation or manifestation. Although a wreath is a work of man, nature provides the leaves, man weaves them into a chaplet for a victor, and this wreath is a symbol for human adaptation of the forces of nature. The wreath also symbolizes man's power to give form to energy. And finally the outline of the wreath is a zero sign, meaning the ellipse of manifestation is No-Thing. The world of a master of life is a wreath of victory.

The truth is the central reality at the core of human personality. Therefore the Name of God, declared by Moses was I AM. For the same reason, Hindu philosophers term this reality the Supreme SELF.

Walt Whitman also emphasized this when he talked about the cosmic consciousness as follows: "Intuition of the absolute balance, in time and space, of the whole of this multifariousness, this revel of fools and incredible make-believe and general unsettledness we call the world; a soul sight of the divine clue and unseen thread which holds the whole congeries of things, all history and time, and all events, however trivial, however momentous, like a leashed dog in the hand of a hunter."

• I AM is the Creator of the Universe...
• I AM is the beginning of life.
• I AM permeates all creation.
• I AM is the power and presence of God.

When Our SELF is known, it is known as the Master of the Show of Illusion named "The World." The name of this Master in Hebrew is Eheyeh, or I AM, and this is the Supreme Divine Name attributed to Kether, the Crown of Primal Will.

What I want to leave you with the most is the realization that states of consciousness are states of power. The goal of the Great Work is identification with the Central Reality of the universe, and such knowledge is really the zenith of practical power. It makes me wonder, what brilliant cartoonist decades ago, wrote the character of POPEYE to be known to say "I am what I am."

"We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort."
Jesse Owens

1913-1980, Olympic Gold Medalist

Service Quality And Customer Satisfaction In Insurance Sector - An Indian Perspective

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

Customer service is an integral part of life insurance organization. It is necessary to identify the key success factors in life insurance industry, in terms of customer satisfaction so as to survive in intense competition and increase the market share. Companies involved in the insurance industry offer a wide variety of products and supplementary services that consumers in need of insurance coverage could readily infer as being "insurance" related. Insurance in India has been spurred by product innovation, streamlining of sales and distribution channels along with targeted advertising and marketing campaigns. With increased globalization and presence of a large number of players in the market place, the very definition of customer relationship and satisfaction is in danger of being proved incomplete.

From a company value perspective, fulfilling customer needs are a key source of income to an organization and achieving complete customer satisfaction is the only key for the company to succeed.

Service cannot be subjected to objective quality control tests before it is provided to the general marketplace; it is only with experience that we know how consumers perceive the quality of the services they receive.

Customer service has become a distinct component of both product and service sectors and with the developments in information technology many businesses find demanding and knowledgeable customers.

Service quality, customer satisfaction and customer value have become the main concern of service organizations in the increasingly intensified competition for customers in today's customer-centred era.

Service quality improvements will lead to customer satisfaction and cost management that result in improved profits. Contemporary service sector firms are compelled by their nature to provide excellent service in order to prosper in increasingly competitive domestic and global marketplaces.

As service firms find themselves in an increasingly competitive and complex business environment, they are inevitably driven to examine their service delivery processes critically. The focus of such internal analysis is ultimately about customer satisfaction, and how bottom-line results can be actualized through delivering quality services to customers via flawless interface platforms. This is not only the case in the private sector, but it also is increasingly so in the public sector. Public sector firms are trying to make administration more efficient and more citizen-oriented.

The insurance industry affects money, capital markets and the real sectors in an economy, making insurance facility necessary to ensure the completeness of a market. It is an industry with strategic importance for any country as it contributes to the financial sector as well as confers social benefits on the society.

At the micro-level, an insurance policy protects the buyer against financial loss arising from a specified set of risks at some cost. It thus reduces anxiety and promotes financial stability by providing a much needed social security net, especially in times of crumbling family ties and nuclear households in developing countries. The role of life insurance is undergoing a phenomenal change today as is evident from the service bouquet and the product advertisements. The emphasis lies on insuring oneself and one's close family members for self-reliance more-so because nuclear families are the emerging trend in India.

To meet the varying needs of various individuals, the life insurance players have a vast foray of products and services in their bouquet. Besides this, almost all companies offer the flexibility to customers to choose the most suitable product for themselves by combining features of a number of products and services together. Thus life insurance companies have to customize the services to improve the quality of service to suit the customer as per their needs.

The insurance industry forms an integral part of the Indian financial market, with insurance companies being significant institutional investors. In recent decades, the insurance sector, like other financial services, has grown in economic importance. This growth can be attributed to a number of factors including rising income and demand for insurance, rising insurance sector employment, and increasing financial intermediary services for policy holders.

A sound national insurance market is an essential characteristic of economic growth. This is not surprising as the insurance industry forms a major component of an economy by virtue of the amount of premiums it collects, the scale of its investment, and, more fundamentally, the essential social and economic role it plays by covering personal and business risks. By encouraging these factors that promote insurance demand and aid financial development, policymakers possess a strong tool to stimulate economic growth.

A number of foreign insurance companies have set up representative offices in India and have also tied up with various Life Insurance companies. The business environment is constantly changing and demand for adaptability among the organizations tends to increase. Demands from customers, technological development, change of value and globalization are the factors that drive the need to change and develop an organization. It is hard to get advantages by quickly adapting technology to product or service in an efficient manner. The ability to handle organizations intangible assets such as service is of great importance to reach success, then the ability to invest and manage tangible assets.

The quality of the service is a pre-requisite for financial institution' market performance and subsequently, economic performance. The companies that offer the best technologies and great quality in every service and that have trained and motivated its employees in order to provide an efficient service are creating adequate framework for the success of a relationship marketing orientation. Financial sector as such is broad and has a wide scope and includes Banks, Insurance companies and Brokerage Firms.

While the natural tendency of many Life Insurance Companies to better price the product and services so as to increase the market share. More specifically the "Service Cost" was found to lead to the policy of "Efficiency pricing". Regarding the pricing behaviour of companies operating in different service industries, insurance companies are mainly endeavouring to offer unique services in their market. Moreover, they are bound to place an emphasis on their broader social and political environment due to their social character and the high regulation. They are also endeavouring to incorporate their pricing strategy into their overall marketing strategy and, thus, formulate a cohesive marketing strategy. This might be attributed to the fact that most life insurance companies operating in India have established well-organized marketing departments. It is also interesting that, while they use some standard list prices, they are also negotiating their prices individually with some key customer.

"The cost of the service" along with "competitors' prices" is the two most important characteristics that trigger pricing decisions. Other important characteristics are the "service quality", the "market strategy", the "customer orientation", the "intensity of competition among the existing companies" and the "type of the service", which indicate that the companies in our sample tend to place their emphasis on service and organizational rather than environmental characteristics when they set their prices. Once it is recognized that competition takes place between companies' offerings and not the companies themselves, it becomes apparent that a "market" focus is appropriate.

As most life insurance companies would recognize, the offering, which is presented to potential customers through the market, is the primary focus of competitive strategy. While accepting that the resources and reputation of a company may add value to an offering, this does not alter the fact that customers choose between offerings. Although the two ways split works well for product offerings and some service offerings, for many financial services the advice and assistance are core parts of the service and are in many cases indistinguishable from the "product" being offered. However, the distinction remains useful in that it highlights the fact that both product features and advice and assistance provide options for differentiation. These options are developed by introducing the concepts of content or image differentiation for merchandise or personalized differentiation for support.

Although intangibility is certainly a key characteristic of services, tangibility performs an important role, particularly in service industries which have high tangible components. A certain degree of tangibility and intangibility exists in both service process and service output. Even in service industries involving less prominent tangible elements, tangibility cannot be completely ignored. In particular, the more a service has tangible components, the more important are these tangible dimensions in service quality.

During the service process, if there are tangible actions physically involving people, security and reliability are perceived as being more important than in those services which predominantly involve intangible actions directed at people's minds. In addition, if tangible actions directed at goods and other physical possessions are involved, customers perceive tangible dimension as being more important. Finally, with respect to service output, if a service involves the making of a tangible product, or providing added value to a tangible product, the importance of perceived value increases.

Further, many customers who are strongly familiar with interpersonal services may never be satisfied with purely technology-based services. This is probably even more important in the relationship-based cultures of India. Customers seem to want technology to be integrated into interpersonal relationships, not to replace them, regardless of their own personal technology readiness. The perception of customers is that salespeople can use technology to solve their problems, helping to develop a sense of trust and satisfaction that is likely to extend their relationship. The salespeople are the critical element in the interaction and relationship, and technology's role is a support element that helps them develop their relationships.

The world is currently witnessing uncertainty and volatility in financial markets, arising out of concerns over the fiscal position and weak growth outlook for developed markets. However, India's strength lies in its domestic growth drivers, which position our country for strong and sustained growth over the long term. Several growth fundamentals are in place, which include rising savings and demand, growing global competitiveness and a favourable demographic profile. Rapidly rising per capita incomes have translated into rising demand for goods and services, and the desire for higher standards of living. The rural economy has also been transforming with rising incomes providing the impetus to consumption and savings. A growing consuming class combined with the human capital to drive growth will take India to higher levels in terms of inclusive and rising purchasing power. Future growth will be driven by the hopes and aspirations of over a billion people. Life insurance is a key sector in the financial services space, which is expected to see significant growth in the coming years as the growing savings pool seeks long-term investment options as well as products for mitigating the impact of potential future risks, including health and mortality.

Rising financial literacy levels in the country have increased the demand for financial solutions across the country. Penetration of life insurance solutions in particular has witnessed robust traction. Being sensitive to the needs of people and providing the highest quality of service has earned the loyalty of customers, which has enabled the companies to execute a strategy of profitable growth.

The financial year 2011 has been a defining year for the Indian life insurance industry. The Regulator introduced significant and exciting changes that altered the dynamics of the life insurance industry.

These changes further reinforced the proposition of life insurance as a means of ensuring protection and providing financial security in the case of an eventuality. It also ensured a greater balance of power amongst all stakeholders of the industry, namely the insurer, customer and distributor. These structural changes were introduced to further augment the customers trust in life insurance and simultaneously protecting his interests. This, we believe, is extremely positive for the industry in the long run and these changes have taken us a step closer to building a world class life insurance industry.

With an annual growth rate of 15-20% and the largest number of life insurance policies in force, the potential of the Indian insurance industry is huge. Total value of the Indian insurance market (2004-05) is estimated at Rs. 450 billion (US billion). According to government sources, the insurance and banking services' contribution to the country's gross domestic product (GDP) is 7% out of which the gross premium collection forms a significant part. The funds available with the state-owned Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) for investments are 8% of GDP.

The year 1999 saw a revolution in the Indian insurance sector, as major structural changes took place with the ending of government monopoly and the passage of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) Bill, lifting all entry restrictions for private players and allowing foreign players to enter the market with some limits on direct foreign ownership. In 2000, when private players entered the Indian life insurance market, they brought their own share of dynamism into the sector. At that time, life insurance was purchased primarily as a tax-saving tool.

The life insurance industry in India grew by an impressive 36%, with premium income from new business at Rs. 253.43 billion during the fiscal year 2004-2005, braving stiff competition from private insurers. The 14 private insurers increased their market share from about 13% to about 22% in a year's time. The figures for the first two months of the fiscal year 2005-06 also speak of the growing share of the private insurers.

It is now a decade since the insurance industry was opened up for private participation. In the initial stages after the liberalisation of the sector, the new entrants into the life insurance industry focused on expanding operations and establishing a national footprint. This business model focused on enabling future growth in volumes through large scale expansion. While the insurance industry gained traction in this phase, the next phase of growth witnessed companies focusing on achieving profitable growth. The new regulations also required companies to re-evaluate business models and achieve a balance between top-line and bottom-line growth. It is our firm belief that the new regulations have nudged the industry in a direction which holds a very promising future.

Innovative products, smart marketing, and aggressive distribution have enabled fledgling private insurance companies to sign up Indian customers faster than anyone expected. Indians, who had always seen life insurance as a tax saving device, are now suddenly turning to the private sector and snapping up the new innovative products on offer.

The opening up of the sector brought about a paradigm shift and led to the emergence of a multiple Insurance companies. The Indian customer was provided innovative and world-class solutions that offered a combination of protection and long-term wealth creation. With an increasing number of private players, the customer had an array of customised solutions to choose from. More importantly, these solutions were developed keeping in mind the diverse needs of customers at varying stages in their life cycle. Access to these financial solutions was provided through a range of distribution channels such as banks, agents, direct offices and online platforms. This revolutionised the distribution network and led to the emergence of a more diversified and multichannel distribution network, thereby providing better penetration and accessibility to customers. This was critical given the very low level of penetration of insurance in the country. In such a scenario, innovative products, improved services and the approach of providing advice were by-products of liberalisation of the sector. The customer indeed became the king.

Buying Newborn Girls Clothes Also Saving Your Money

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

Newborns seem to grow up so quickly. Before you realize it, your sweet little toddler girl has outgrown many of her baby girls clothes, and it's about that time for you to go spending to get spanking new kid's garments. You should make certain to not diminish any unnecessary dollars you have preserved on clothes that may last a long time until it is too little. This valuable baby girls clothes article will certainly hopefully prepare you with a bit of quick knowledge plus advice that will help an individual find a bargain.

Consider the time of year your baby arrives. The hot months infant clothes should be much lighter plus much more ventilated, to help keep your child from excessive sweating and gaining skin breakouts. For anyone who is expecting your bundle of joy in the winter months, you'll want to possess a lot of comfortable warmer hats, gloves not to mention booties. You actually should also take into account acquiring baby clothing sets. You'll get coordinating items such as trousers, shirts, and also dresses collectively.

Infant baby clothing sizes are measured by months, generally marked by having an "M" after a number. The sizing table is based on the actual sizes of average babies in certain age brackets, its also wise to understand that many little ones are going to be larger sized as well as smaller when compared to average. Therefore, it is good to find out the body measurements baby clothing is manufactured to fit. As your baby evolves from infant to toddler, you will want far more quality toddler garments that would endure through all of the falling, moving in addition to playing. Make sure you acquire apparel which might be easily cleaned to make sure you won't need to do the routine laundry as often. It's actually a good plan to select one hundred percent natural cotton outfits, they're gentle but durable. When it comes to washing, you might want to simply obtain more economical toddler attire. Your toddler is going to just make a mess of it, regardless how hard you try to stop it. Toddler clothes measurements are actually based on youngster's ages, in years. If you notice a T on the label, then you know it's actually a toddler size.

As your small child girl evolves her very own unique character and also preferences will change, and once it arrives to clothing fashion, they do know exactly what they desire. I recommend, before you go out shopping whether on the web to get youngsters' outfits, or maybe at the hometown shopping mall, consult with your kids as to what they want. Nonetheless remember that, at the end of the day, you happen to be the one with all the funds, the credit plus the final choice.

Wish to save a lot of cash? A few basic color varied t-shirts will make a good start at savings. They're very affordable and can also be worn in every changing seasons. All through the summertime young children can put them on to play and also head to school in. While in the winter, the same t-shirts will be worn as undershirts. T-shirt's are super easy to keep in good condition and clean which is a bonus working with kid's clothes generally speaking. As well as a couple of t-shirt I also prefer to obtain a couple of good pair of denims, since they also last and tend to be simple to wash.

The Divine Recipe For a Magical Life - 10 Steps to Claiming Your Dreams

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

Believe it or not, there is an awesome Divine Recipe for manifesting your desires and it is rather simple, if you follow the instructions precisely. The deliciously brazen act of claiming your dreams requires a myriad of different ingredients...one being a healthy dash of CHARACTER thrown in for succeeding wildly. Fierce COURAGE is one of the most vital ingredients called for, if you are going to even have dreams. Oh, what the heck, go ahead and add an extra heaping side of COURAGE to the recipe. You'll need it to defy all of the naysayers and dream stealers. A playful willingness to SHAPE SHIFT your essence, reinvent your self on occasion and do what it is most necessary are other crucial nuggets. Sprinkle in some radical OPENNESS to stepping out of your comfort zone and for going on many zany adventures. Of course, ALLOWING your dreams to come to fruition and knowing that you deserve to have them is essential in the recipe of manifestation. All of these necessary ingredients are inside of you, ready to be blended into your dream concoction!

The idea of claiming your dreams conjures up the notion that your dreams are already out there, created, living and breathing. These bold imaginings are patiently waiting for you to claim them into your jovial existence. For without you, the inspired action takers, your dreams are floating in somewhat of a dreamlike purgatory. These brilliant vehicles are waiting, longing and dreaming of being poofed into existence by their brilliant and powerful creator - you.

Dream work is teamwork. It takes an immense discipline to connect to your dreams daily and to hear what they are communicating to us. They will tell you what they want and need, if you ask. If you don't want to know the answers you might find yourself indulging in distractions. You know what they are. If you are truly open to hearing what your dreams are revealing, you might be surprised at their answers.

It's no secret. The same pertinent information keeps being revealed, repeated and celebrated by the brilliantly successful and the truly abundant. We know that JOY is the magnet to attracting our picture perfect life. VISUALIZING our heart's desires is another powerful tool. Sometimes while doing this, our egos are salivating at the chance to infuse negative thoughts. One being that we are a bunch of granola crunching, airy-fairy, woo-woo misfits and that we are living in the land of Slackerville. Others might find that the word "lazy" permeates their consciousness with the thought of just sitting around on their bums, visualizing. "That's enough! I must DO something!" Yet, the Spiritual masters keep imploring us to use this powerful tool. Trust that your dreamy visuals come from the seat of your Soul and they will reveal what inspired action to take. Then move forward boldly.

To access JOY when it's not anywhere near your emotional neighborhood, do this...CONNECT TO THE PICTURES. This is the fastest, most effective and playful way to tap into the reality of our dreams. Mental pictures are powerful things. We create them whether we are conscious of it or not, so why not choose to purposefully create those that make us feel good?

10 Dream Creation Steps:

1. Sit still in the quiet and let go of your thoughts through your breath.

2. Once in a neutral place, call forth the pictures of what you desire in your life.

3. Saturate your mind, body and Soul with these pictures. Experience the smells, sights and sounds of what you want and experience how they make you feel. (The goal is to feel good...even giddy!)

4. Keep connecting to these pictures and feel the feelings as if you already have these things you're visualizing.

5. Bask in the JOY right now of what is living inside your pictures.

6. Call forth GRATITUDE from your heart for these pictures manifesting, for you have just created a new reality, whether you realize it or not.

7. Focus on these pictures throughout your day and the feelings of having what's in the visuals right now. You must keep up with your new reality if you want it to change.

8. Deny the "what is" of your old familiar reality by disconnecting your full attention to it and keep tapping into your new reality through your pictures.

9. Expect wonderful things to happen and speak only positive words about your dreams!

10. Have fun with this and Repeat with joyful abandon!

Your dreams are waiting...are you willing to let them out of purgatory and play???

Dream Interpretation - The Mystery of Dreams - Symbols Indicating Danger - The Spider

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

Our dreams are strange and mysterious because they follow a logic that is totally different from the logic of our human conscience and their language is also totally different from the languages we are used to. We are used to languages made with words, while our dreams' language is made with images, sensations and feelings.

The dreams have an author: the wise unconscious mind, which is wise and has a saintly character. This is an organ that doesn't belong to the human being - it is given to him by a superior human conscience that has reached perfection and could be named God.

The information and the guidance you have in dreams is always protective. The unconscious mind is always trying to protect your mental health from the attacks of the anti-conscience, the wild side of your conscience, which is primitive, violent and evil. It lives constantly trying to destroy the human side of your conscience through craziness in order to control your behavior, and this is why the unconscious mind lives constantly protecting your human side, sending you secret messages in a symbolic form, so that the anti-conscience won't understand its directions.

There is an invisible fight inside you, between the wise unconscious mind that tries to save your humanity eliminating the poisonous anti-conscience, and this dangerous part of your brain and psyche that is so cruel and wild. You represent the human side of your conscience, the only part of your brain you have access to.

The other parts are invisible for you, but they are fighting for you: the human conscience. The evil anti-conscience wants to destroy you completely and take your place, while the wise and saintly unconscious mind is trying to save you and transform you into a wise, sensible and sensitive human being, so that you may live happily forever.

Dream Symbols which indicate great danger are the following:

1. The Spider - If you see a spider in a dream, this is reason for alarm. The spider represents a great danger threatening your future. If you don't pay attention to various important details of reality and if you don't do what you must in order to solve an important problem, the consequences will be very bad for you.

The spider is trying to show you that there is an invisible trap in the air. If you are not cautious, you'll die there.

I have already explained to you that the dream messages have a protective character and that your worst enemy is the anti-conscience that tries to destroy the human side of your conscience through craziness.

What does it mean? It means that this wild part of your brain is constantly invading the conscious field and trying to make you follow its suggestions. If you pay attention to them and you follow them, you start losing the notion of what you are doing and you also start losing control of your life and your behavior.

This is how you start becoming a slave of the anti-conscience; in other words: this is how you become neurotic.

Now, the spider may represent a danger in your daily life, which is also related to the anti-conscience. Everything that happens with you can give an opportunity to the anti-conscience to start influencing your thoughts and your behavior, while pushing you towards the labyrinth of craziness.

The spider means that you cannot postpone an obligation, you cannot avoid taking action, you must do something urgently, otherwise you'll have serious problems in the future.

You'll live in a hell because of the problems you'll have to face, or you'll regret very much for not having done the right thing when you still had the chance.

The spider is a warning that protects you from being naïve and irresponsible.

There are many other dream symbols that indicate great danger, but I cannot give you a detailed explanation about each one of them in a short article...

I'm only going to mention them, translating for you their meaning, so that you may have an idea about their importance.

2. Teeth falling - This symbol is one of the worst ones. If you see in your dream that your teeth are falling, this means that you are making a very serious moral mistake that could cost you your life, your mental health and happiness.

3. You are flying in the air - This means that you are totally far from reality and your suppositions are absurd. You are an easy victim for the evil anti-conscience, because you believe in what is unreal.

4. You are falling - This is a sign that you will have a very serious deception.

5. You fall and you suddenly reach the ground and bump, jumping in your bed while you are asleep and dreaming, which may even make wake you up - This is a sign that the deceptions you will have will be of the worse kind. For example you will be betrayed, abandoned, lose everything you have, face despair, etc.

6. A rat or many rats - The rats represent men or women (depending on your gender) that only want to take advantage of you, pretending that they love you. Be careful if you have a relationship with someone or you are thinking about having an affair with them, but you suddenly see a rat in your dream.

There many other dream symbols that indicate danger. Unfortunately the wise unconscious mind has to show you all the dangers that threaten your mental health and happiness...

You have to learn the dream language, so that you may understand not only that you are in danger, but also how to successfully solve all your problems, staying out of danger forever by eliminating the evil anti-conscience.

You'll transform this primitive and violent part of your brain and psyche into a calm and wise part of your human conscience, being this way able to live peacefully and happily.

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

Welcome back to childhood! A cartoon character baby shower theme will amuse everyone and will create a very special sentiment. Cartoons can bring back memories and happy childhood moments that every guest will enjoy.

Using a certain character as a baby shower main theme is easier than selecting some other. Decorations, tableware and activities have been created on the basis of animated movies and their protagonists.

When deciding on a cartoon-themed baby shower, you will have to think about several aspects. The gender of the baby can help you determine the most appropriate theme. You can also consult the mom-to-be about her most favorite cartoon characters.

The availability of party supplies is another important aspect to consider. You may want to choose cartoon characters that are popular and depicted in parties relatively often. Otherwise, you will have to make some decorations yourself - a process that is fun but rather time consuming.

This article lists some of the most popular cartoon characters that can become the focus of the baby shower theme.

Disney Princesses

Disney princesses are living a life of their own. Girls love them and want to be pampered in the very same way.

Holding a princess-themed baby party will be very easy. Party stores offer various types of decorations and you can discover tableware, napkins and activities associated to Disney princesses.

Tweety Bird

Yellow should be the predominant color. Holding the baby shower in a garden will also be fun. Tweety-themed baby showers will remind people of spring, new beginning and the beauty of nature.

Where Have All the Booth Babes Gone?

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

The clock is ticking down, your team is down by 6 and a tense silence has fallen over the field. Then you hear it..."We want a touchdown! We want a touchdown!" The cheerleaders have taken hold and start to jump around, clap and scream. The crowd is on its feet cheering right along with them. The bleachers start to rumble with excitement. The players turn and look at their personal pep rally and pump their fists with a newfound energy. The ball is snapped...its in the air...the receiver catches the ball...breaks one tackle...then another...he clears the goal line...TOUCHDOWN!!! The crowd goes crazy; the cheerleaders start their dance and lead the crowd in the victory song.

What would a football game be without the cheerleaders? They aren't necessary to the game but they add a level of excitement that no one else could bring. So, why are the girls who grace us with their presence at trade shows often looked upon as tacky or a gimmick? They have the same job to do as cheerleaders. They are there to get customers excited about a product, get them interested and eventually to hopefully open their wallets.

The days of "booth babes" seem to be slowing exponentially. Women empowerment is on the move again and society is focusing more on 'real beauty' rather than superficial standards. This is not good news for the scantily clad babes of auto and gaming trade shows. There are always going to be women in this world who are going to make their living off their looks but their employment opportunities are being seriously limited. What better way to attract people's attention to your product than with beautiful smiling women ready and willing to flatter your potential customers at the drop of a dime?

Consider the girls seen at every auto trade show across the globe. In a world of fast cars, bumping systems and roaring engines, it just wouldn't be complete without beautiful women. Call it a stereotype, sexist or whatever you wish, but these shows are generally geared towards a male audience. There is no better way to get these testosterone pumping men to open their wallets than to have gorgeous girls flatter them. Think about this for a minute...how empty would photos of bright, shiny sports cars be without a beautiful woman dressed in a bikini sprawled out on the hood? Very, very empty.

Let's switch gears now and think about gaming trade shows. Almost every video game released today has been sexed up with at least one sexy female lead character. Again, these shows and the games are aimed at a mostly male audience. Most of the guys attending these shows are geeky (at least by our typical societal standards) who only dream of having a scantily clad model as their very own. Bring in the booth babes. Many of these girls dress up like the characters in the video game they are promoting. Real life girls as video game vixens is every gamer's fantasy. These girls make the guys feel good, tell them about a new game and hopefully in the end get the company a loyal new customer.

During such hard economic times, companies need to get creative in order to let their product stand out among the crowd. Some people deem booth babes as a gimmick and claim that their use degrades the reputation of the company. I think gimmick is a harsh word. Booth babes are just another marketing strategy used to appeal to a specific audience. So I say let these girls don their short shorts, fishnets and knee high boots. Let them loose in the trade show arena and sell their little hearts out. In the end, you walk away with higher sales and they can walk away knowing that somewhere, they are the focus of a guy's dream and all they had to do was collect a paycheck.

Character Education Programs For Academic Success and Play

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

Our children will be returning to days of regimented learning when they return to school next week. Unlike previous years, Lela won't be learning Mandarain, Spanish, theater or knitting. After school, she'll probably walk home, perhaps with friends from her neighborhood, and play and relax.

During the last twenty years, our kids have been robbed of at least eight hours of leisurely, spontaneous and unstructured play time every week. Compared to children from sixty years ago, it's fairly obvious that our children's ability to regulate their own behavior, control their impulses and understand their emotions is much worse. Studies have shown an alarming trend in self-regulation; our five-year-olds behave like 1940's three-year-olds, and our seven-year-olds have the same emotional capacity as five-year-olds from that same period.

Unstructured recreation, led by children, add to a child's emotional health, as well as their social, physical and intellectual skills. Unstructured play can teach children to successfully work in groups, as well as how to negotiate, resolve conflicts, share, speak up, and regulate their own behavior and emotions. Another study has revealed that children who attend traditional, academic preschools do not have an educational advantage in reading or math over children who attended preschools that focused on play - but they did have elevated test anxiety, decreased creativity, and more negative feelings about school than children who attended play-based preschools.

By allowing your children to lead their own play, and not questioning the roles that they assume or the structure of their games, we don't have to worry about dominating their play experiences. Unless your children are being unfriendly, don't attempt to correct their methods of play. Remove yourself from the immediate situation if you find yourself expressing frustration or disdain for the ways that your children choose to play, and allow your child the free play time. It is important to let them lead, and still spend time doing things that you both enjoy.

In my personal experience, rough-housing with my kids really increases our connection. I tend to skip participating in their make-believe play, because it's difficult for me to enjoy, and I become bored. History doesn't show us many examples of parents playing with their children, and even 75% of the world would find it unnatural for a child and parent to play together on the floor. Once your kids reach the age of four or five, it's completely normal for parents to step back from their children's play and let them control it for themselves. This is how children learn to get along with their peers, and how to entertain themselves. A kid with an imaginary friend isn't troubled or crazy; actually, studies have shown that these kids are more apt to interact, laugh and smile in social situations.

By projecting their own personalities and interacting with plush creatures with pretend personalities, kids develop the necessary skills to focus on their relationships with other kids. Pretend play with a group of children can stimulate intellectual and social skills in children, which subsequently helps them in school. 30 minutes is the minimum amount of time that kids should play. It's even better to let this play last several hours. Instead of using manufactured toys for props, encourage children to substitute common objects in their play, such as sticks for wands, and boxes for houses or cars. It's unfortunate, but there aren't many neighborhoods where a child under ten can walk the dog without a parent. We're not doing what we should as a society by allowing unmoderated play disappear from out children's lives; we value play less because of academics that take over our children's lives, but we need to protect and implement play for all of our children.

Fantastic 4 Video Game Review for the Playstation 2 (PS2), XBox, Gamecube, and PC

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

Fantastic 4 is a high-speed action game loosely based off the recently released movie starring Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans, and Michael Chiklis as the superheroes. These actors also perform the voice overs for the game, along with Julian McMahon who plays Victor Von Doom, the primary villain for both the game and the movie. The Fantastic 4 originally started as a comic book about five people that were changed biologically by a blast of cosmic radiation. One of those characters turned evil due to his selfish nature, but the other four decided to use their powers for the betterment of the world. This is why they are called the Fantastic Four.

The game begins with an animated clip depicting how the five characters got their powers. The video clip could have been done much better, it is very grainy and the sound is choppy. The characters hardly look anything like the actors that they represent. The clips that are shown throughout the game are pretty similar in that respect also. After this video clip you begin to play the game as Mr. Fantastic, the stretchy man, who pretty much leads the group. At this time none of the characters are sure what has happened to them and what is going on with their bodies. Mr. Fantastic awakes to find himself locked in a room while total chaos ensues outside his door. He needs to find someway to get out of these confines to see if his friends are alright so he picks the lock to his door. When he is released he finds a robot to help him fight his way to free his friends and to free himself. If you are playing in cooperative mode the second player will use the robot character.

The second character that you will use is the Human Torch, whose body is on fire throughout the entire game. When playing in cooperative mode it is easy to tell one character from the other due to the vast differences in looks. The Human Torch must also learn about his new powers while fighting the evil robots that are trying to kill him. His main goal, as is Mr. Fantastic's, is to find and help his sister Sue; also known as the Invisible Woman.

The Invisible Woman is the cause of much jealousy between Von Doom and Mr. Fantastic who have both had strong feelings for her for a long while now. Her and Mr. Fantastic were in a long-term relationship a few years back, but he put his work ahead of her so she had to leave him. Of course she still has feelings for him even though she was working towards a relationship with Von Doom; at least that is what Von Doom thought. The Invisible Woman is a strong character in this game; however her hand to hand combat is a little weak.

The Thing changed more than anyone else and he did not take it as well as the others. He has a beautiful wife that he doesn't want to lose because of his deformity. Unfortunately he does lose her, she couldn't deal with the drastic change in his appearance. So the Thing ends up on the bridge looking into the water when a hapless stranger wanders over to him, thinking he is a regular Joe, to offer some advice why life is not so bad. The stranger takes one look at him and freaks out which is how you come to the next part of the game; saving people on a bridge. Each character has their own signature color and when you see the glowing, circular color it will indicate which character is needed to perform that task. You just set the character on the circle and follow the directions so that the hero can do their special move.

The game is not exactly like the movie, more villains were needed to make the game last longer. For instance, another comic book character, Nick Fury, was added into the mix. Nick Fury captures the Fantastic 4 and keeps them captive because of all the destruction they cause when trying to save people. Of course they escape from there too and strike a deal with Nick so that they will not be captured again. The deal is that the Fantastic 4 must undertake a mission for him, a dangerous one. There are also gang members for them to fight, dinosaurs, and lot of robotic creatures.

For those of you video game fans that like some substance in your games, keep on looking because your not going to find it here. On the other hand, if you are missing the old games like the ones for the original Nintendo console, look no further. The Fantastic 4 is your typical beat-em'-up and fly through game. This game can be beaten with relative ease, the character's moves are not hard to master at all, and the boss characters go down easy, even Von Doom. The graphics are rather drab and the dialogue between the characters is difficult to hear over all the other noise. The only thing that saved this game from getting a total splat is the cooperative mode which turned out to be really fun. The way the camera is set up it is easy to maneuver your characters even when you have two people trying to be the boss. Really there isn't a lot of choice on where to go, the path is already set for you. It is also very easy to distinguish one character from another which lessens the confusion of which little person is yours. So my recommendation is if you are going to rent or buy this game plan on making it a game for two, you will get a lot more out of it.

Reality, the Final Frontier - What a Concept!

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

In your life, there will come a time when you have to admit a few things to yourself...if you dare.

The sheer force of your will is not enough to cause life around you to always be as you think it should be or in your comfort zone. You can only do what YOU can do in situations, both in your life or in events that concern you. Ultimately you cannot make anyone else do the things you think they should or the things you need for them to do for your peace of mind. You cannot control everything around you all the time. There will be situations in which you have to trust enough and go with your gut feeling and/or let someone else take the lead, even if you believe it's not the shortest path to where you need to go or you can't see the outcome from the beginning. You WILL fail from time to time. Deal with it and learn to do it gracefully when needed. If you don't fail, at least now and then, it stands to reason you're not playing fair somewhere along the line.

Even someone that loves you or that you love with all your heart, will at times disappoint or hurt you. It's up to you to decide what you do about it and whether the hurt is a temporary and sometimes necessary curve in the journey, or whether it's a detour that won't ever lead to where you want to be. If the person is truly important to you and your life, weigh these choices carefully before you act. Some bridges can never be recrossed once they are traveled over. There will be times though, when enough is enough. Learn to tell the difference.

Not every day will be a good one. Some days will swing from the highest highs to the lowest lows with remarkable speed simply because of an unexpected phrase or thoughtless comment expressed from someone you trust, love or depend on. These comments are probably not thought twice about, much less ever meant to upset you. Try to remember that hurt feelings are not fatal.

Remember when someone acts in ways that confound or confuse you out of the blue, that they might in fact be coming from a place of fear in themselves and their behavior is a protective measure on their part. Don't always make it about yourself. Stop to consider what else may be going on beneath the surface and why. Also stop to remember why they are in your life in the first place and that you want them there for a reason.

Tell or show people how important they are to you often, just because, and don't expect the same in return or be hurt if the people around you don't bestow on you the same courtesy and thoughtfulness. Love and respect can't be mandated or scheduled for others by you. Love is, at times, only a silent player much like the wind...some days it's a gale, some days a mere breeze. You can still feel it in every fiber of your being without repeated flashy demonstrations of it's existence. Learn to appreciate all the subtle nuances of it's presence as well. Those nuances are just as precious, sometimes even more memorable.

People love and express love in their own unique, individual ways. None of these ways are perfect, nor can they be judged as right or wrong. Just because someone doesn't love you exactly the way YOU want them to, it doesn't mean they aren't giving you all they are capable of giving. If it's not enough for YOU, it is then your problem, not theirs. Only you can decide to walk away or not at that point. Don't get involved with someone expecting to change them or for them to change for you. Females, as a group, are notorious for this belief. They then wonder why they are always searching for more.

Whether you consider yourself religious, spiritual or a freak of nature that is on this Earth by mere coincidence of atoms colliding...the Good Book still has some common sense rules of humanity to live by. Treat others as you'd like to be treated, don't always envy what someone else has and don't take for granted the good things in your own life..are three of the most important ones to hold close and put into practice. Karma, fate or destiny (whatever you choose to call it) will indeed come full circle if you choose to tempt it too many times. Don't cry over spilt milk and never make the mistake of assuming that getting said milk without ever any commitment to the cow will be without consequences.

Bottom line, growing up is not for the faint of heart, neither is maturity. Courage, responsibility and honor are not givens in your character, but are instead developed in the way you choose to live your life and how you treat others.

Try not to be trivial or sleaze your way through life. Decide to make a difference where you can, while you can. Make your mark on this world instead of being like gum on the bottom of someones shoe.

If these simple common sense concepts are too much for your meager brain to handle or for your corrupt soul to fathom, then trust me...you won't care for much I have to say if you press me or act like a stupid juvenile when you're supposed to be all grown up (in years anyway). Playing dumb or trying to be "cute" all the time without ever being real, wears thin very quickly. Have some substance, purpose and backbone in all that you do, even during play.

~Kath

~The art of living does not consist in preserving and clinging to a particular mode of happiness, but in allowing happiness to change its form without being disappointed the change. Happiness, like a child, must be allowed to grow up.~

Learn to make a difference. Start with you.

Create Computer Games - Get Started on Creating Your Own Virtual Worlds

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

I’ve always loved video games, ever since I first played them on a friend’s computer in the afternoon after elementary school. There’s something almost magical about the fact that we can move images around and interact with virtual worlds, a living fantasy presented for us to interact with however we please. I’ve also always wanted to make games myself but, until recently, didn’t have the technical knowledge to do so. Now, I’m a second year software engineering student, so if I weren’t able to code a game without too many dramas there’d be something drastically wrong. But what about the common person: the person for whom the term ‘memory leak’ conjures up images of their grandfather, ‘pipeline’ is where the water flows, and ‘blitting’ is unheard of? Well, everyone can get in on the game creation process, and you don’t even need to learn ‘real’ programming to do so.

So where do games start? With an idea. Games, like all fiction, require an idea to be successful. Sure, in the same way you can just sit down and write a story without foresight, you can jump on in and slap a game together. However, unless you get ridiculously lucky, the best works are usually the ones that have been well thought out beforehand.

There are two methods of planning a project. You can start from a known technological standpoint and build your project on top of that or you can just go for the design, add as many features and ideas as you like, and then remove the ones that you can’t use when you’ve decided on the technology you’re going to implement the game with. In general, the second type is probably the best one to go with when designing games. When you’re first starting out however, the first option will save you many headaches.

So, for a first game you’re going to want a pretty simple idea. Don’t get me wrong, crazy-go-nuts game ideas are fantastic, and there should be more of them out there, but you’re not going to be able to create a real world simulator with fifty billion virtual people all interacting real time with your actions having a butterfly effect on the future of the virtual universe when it’s just your first game. Really. Many people try it; none that I know of have succeeded. Imitation is the best way to start out. Simple games such as ‘Space Invaders’, ‘Tetris’, ‘Pacman’ or even ‘Pong’ are great places to start. All are largely simple to create but have some inherent challenges. ‘Pacman’ for example, requires path finding for the ghosts. I recommend that you start even simpler than that for your very first attempt. ‘Space Invaders’ is a nice point to jump in. You can make a simple, complete game without much effort and it’s almost infinitely extensible.

If you’re stuck for an idea, pick a genre that you enjoy. Do you love adventure games such as ‘Monkey Island’, ‘Grim Fandango’, ‘Space Quest’, ‘King’s Quest’ etc.? Design one of those. Are you into fighting games like ‘Street Fighter’, ‘Tekken’, ‘Soul Calibur’, ‘Mortal Kombat’ and so on? Come up with an idea for that. Do you like first person shooters such as ‘Quake’, ‘Half Life’ or ‘Doom’? I don’t recommend it as a first project, but you can always give it a go. Feel free to be as generic as you like, this is a learning experience after all.

Now that you have your idea it’s time to flesh it out. Don’t worry about the technology or the fact that you may not know how to actually implement a game just yet, just grab yourself some paper and a pencil and go crazy with ideas. Describe the main characters, game play, goals, interactions, story, and key mappings, anything you can think of. Make sure you have enough detail so that someone can read through the notes and play through the game in their head with relative accuracy. Changing game design during the coding process is almost always a bad idea. Once it’s set, it should remain set until the tweaking phase (I’ll go into this more later) or you’re likely to enter ‘development hell’, where the project goes on and on; more and more work is done with less and less outcome.

At the end of this period of your game creation, you should have the following:

- A written outline of the game’s characters and possibly a sketch or two (be they space ships, yellow circles, cars or the prince of the dark kingdom of Falgour, you need to know who or what the player will be and who they will compete against)

- A written outline of the story (if there is one, this isn’t too vital for ‘Space Invaders’ or ‘Tetris’, but for ‘Uber Quest: An Adventure of Awesomeness’ it’s a really good idea)

- A description of game play, written or storyboarded. Storyboards are visual representations of ideas. Draw your characters in actions, with arrows showing the flow of action and short written descriptions detailing the events occurring in your image (because some of us aren’t fantastic artists and our images can be a little… open to interpretation…)

Now that you have a fleshed out idea, it’s time to work out how this will all get put together. If you’ve gotten to this point and are worried that you’re going to have to spend years learning complex programming languages in order to implement your idea, fear not! Others have already done the hard yards for you. There are many RAD (Rapid Application Development) Tools available for game creation, a number of which are available for free online. Some of them still require you to learn a ‘scripting language’ (a simplified programming language made for a specific task) but in general this isn’t too complicated or involved. I’ve compiled a brief list of some of these I have found at the end of the article. The free ones are listed first, organized by game genre.

Well, that should be enough to get you started in the creation of your game. The most important thing to remember once you’ve gotten this far is that you need to complete your game. Many people start a project and then lose interest and it fails, or they keep moving on to one new project after another without finishing anything. Start small, build a working (if simple) game that is, above all else, complete. When you get to this stage you will always have a huge number of things that you wish to change, fix etc. but you’ll get a great feeling from knowing that it is, in its way, finished.

From this point, you can start the tweaking phase. Play your game a few times and ask others to do the same. Take note of what isn’t fun or could be better and change things here. At this stage, it is more important than ever to keep backups of previous versions so that if a change doesn’t work you can go back and try something different without losing any of your work. It is at this point that you can add all new features, improve graphics and sounds, whatever you please, safe in the knowledge that you’re working on a solid foundation.

When you’re happy with your game, why not share it with the world? There are many cheap or free places out there for you to host your files on and then you can jump on link lists and forums and let everyone know about your creation. Well, I hope that this has been a helpful introduction into the art of creating games. It’s a great deal of fun, and can open whole new avenues of creative expression for you to explore. Jump in and have fun!
