How to Make Your Own Printable Invitations for Any Occasion

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

Even with modern technology like email and cell phones, printed invitations have remained the most common way to let people know about your upcoming party and will continue to remain popular due to the timeless rules of party etiquette. Invitations can be a major cost, especially for large parties, like weddings and some baby showers. However, with a little creativity and time, you can make your own printable invitations, even if you have no artistic skills.

1. The first step is designing your card. You can use a simple word processor like Microsoft Word and if you want, you can go to the Adobe's website at http://createpdf.adobe.com to convert your file into a pdf file. Select the proper dimensions and print out a sample on some plain white paper just to make sure it is the right size.

2. Next, you will want to find the proper card stock to print out your invitations on. Your local office supply store will have these and you can purchase them inexpensively there.

3. Use the word processor to insert text boxes with the words you want on your invitation. Play around with the fonts and text color.

4. There are many sites that offer free clip art and pictures that you can use for your invitations. Just do a search for "free clip art" on the search engines and you will find many sites that provide these services for free. Browse through and download the pictures you want and then insert them into your card at the desired location.

5. If you use a background image, make sure it does not obscure the text on the card. Ideally, background images should be watermarked. Most word processors will allow you to select background images and make them watermarks. Another alternative is to click on all the text boxes and give them solid colored backgrounds.

6. Need a catchy poem or verse? Once again, you can search the internet for related verses. For example, if I am making baby shower invitations, then I can search for "baby shower poem" or "baby verse" and any other related phrases.

7. Save the master copy of the finished card and print out a sample copy on plain paper to see what it will look like. If it looks good, then you can start personalizing each card and printing it out on card stock.

8. If you do not have a color printer, then create a personalized copy for each guest and save it as a separate file on a disk. Take the disk to your local print shop and have them print out a invitation for each guest. Some print shops may even print out the invitations for you if you give them the guest list and template. A print shop will cost more than printing them out yourself, but probably less than buying invitations from somewhere else. Plus the product should look very professional and they may even have the right card stock available. Additionally, print shops can do engraved invitations as well, which are good for upscale occasions like weddings.

Some other guidelines include try to stick to a central theme, don't try to use too many pictures and colors, and compare your card to others at card stores to get a feel for what a good invitation should look like. Remember that most invitations are simple and have just a few graphics and maybe one verse. As you can see, there are infinite possibilities when creating your own party invitations and not only is it a fun project, but will also save you money.

You Can Fix Your Relationship, Make Up Success

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

The art to "fix relationship" is not a natural thing for most of us, it is something that needs to be learned and also something that takes allot of hard work! The fact in the world today is that many of us struggle with the simple fundamentals of a happy relationship, generally due to a lack of example or just to damned stubborn to listen to the close people with the best advise. People of all ages are getting into relationships which constantly have there ups and downs, which can lead to severe tension with the possibility to breaking up, and statistically speaking such are from even the littlest of thing can become so ridiculously huge. Gaining some new and simple tools can save for yourself a lot of heartache and pain...

Here are some important factors to fix your relationship!

Dedicate time to put effort in your relationship! If there is an undeniable spark with strong feelings then you really need to sit back and think about all the positive things that you have going. When it come to communicating and working out what may be wrong you need to be sure of what they are honestly, and you need to be aware of what it is that makes you angry, one very important thing for those angry points when you got to them is to take time out! With anger there is many different emotions that create it , so generally needs further evaluation. Quite often is just a miss understanding of what is been said... Its necessary also to gain some understanding to how your partner works, as males and females we see things totally different from one another and does lead to some form of confusion especially in confrontation...

Give each other compulsory time out!

Having some alone time to think and reflect,or even just enjoying a personal hobby of some sort is very important, even spending time with your friends, its all about character. For the two of you, you should be able to learn and consider what each others needs and want are in this category and work out a compromise that will suit you both. Learn to accept the things that you can not change that you partner needs to be his or her self, and learn the wisdom to be able to change what you need to reach that happy medium that suits you both...

Get your self back on track!

If your relationship has gone rapidly downhill and you personally don't feel happy then you should really focus on yourself and solely on yourself! For any relationship to be healthy you definitely need to be happy. Often in relationships we there becomes an unrealized control thing that happens like being forced to wear different clothes, or eat different things, even act in a completely different way and although sometimes this can be for the positive, when its not it can make one very miserable. So what I am saying if this is you then you need to be you again, after all it was that you what attracted them in the first place.

All in all to fix relationship you need to clear about how you feel and what you want, focus on what you guys need and how you are going to get there, Remain positive with your thoughts and bring laughter and happiness back into your picture. Getting and Staying Motivated

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

Over the last few days I have had the chance to watch two very good films, which, if you haven't seen already, I would highly recommend you get a copy and watch as soon as you can. The two films in question are ' Meet the Robinsons ' and 'Castaway '. The former, even though it's an animated film has a strong underlying message and the latter, staring Tom Hanks is just so thought provoking it ends up being more than just a film.

Now, briefly, if you don't know the plots of either film I'll go through what I think the films are about and give the message I and see if they both become thought provoking for you as well.

Meet the Robinsons is about a boys journey(Lewis) from orphan with no family to a great inventor with a fantastic family and more in his life than you can shake a stick at, with a nice twist at the end to sort out someone else's life along the way. Lewis is a bit of an inventor and, by perseverance and determination his inventions become bigger and better. There is a catch phrase in the film 'Keep Moving Forward' and I think, for anyone who wants to make something of their lives, this is such a good motivator as you just have to keep moving forward despite setbacks and distractions and you will achieve the goals and dreams you have. Meet the Robinsons also has an element of time travel in it, a bit 'Back to the Future' I would admit but it does add to the message of the film and enables the twist at the end that I mentioned earlier. To watch this film is a joy and certainly makes you think.

As I said, I would highly recommend this film to anyone, not just your kids.

Castaway is also a great motivator. The film, centred on a character played by Tom Hanks (Chuck Noland) follows the life of a man who has a reasonable job and seems to have a happy life, with a girlfriend (Helen Hunt) and responsibilities. He has to travel abroad by plane for his company (FedEx) and, during the flight the plane gets into a really bad storm over the Pacific Ocean. The plane comes down in the sea and he is the only survivor. Eventually, he is washed up on a small deserted Island, which becomes his home for the next four years. After going through suicidal thoughts and making himself a noose to hang by then not being able to go through with it, he starts to learn the basic skills for survival, some of which I think a lot of us don't have as we live in a very convenient society. We follow the day to day happenings including when he makes a football his companion to which he uses as a focus for his subconscious and talks to from time to time (like talking through the third person, if you know what that is). Anyway, the majority of time he spends on the Island is skipped but we join him again as he has decided to make a break for freedom and built himself a raft from wood and various materials with oars and a shelter come sail (though you'll have to watch the film to understand what that bits about). He sets off with the football friend (called Wilson after the name on the ball) and makes his attempt to re join the human race. This section, as you may guess is as difficult as the first Months on the Island but he seems to be watched over by a Whale who keeps him alive by waking him up from time to time so as not to let him just drift off and die on the raft, which is quite touching. Anyway, after drifting for days and weeks through good weather and some pretty horrendous storms he is passed by a large freight ship that rescues him and, you may think, his life returns to normal. But there is a twist at the end as his life is not the same, his girlfriend (Played by Helen Hunt) has married because she was told he was dead (though admitted she always knew, somehow, that he was still alive) and he looks at his life and must see that it has to take on a new direction. There is a part, right at the end where he has reached a cross roads in a road in the middle of nowhere and he gets out of his car and looks down each road, not knowing which route to take. The film fades at this point, leaving you to finish off the script, as you would see fit.

Now, what I'm getting at here is, unless you've been asleep for the last 4 or so Months, you'll be very aware of the credit situation sweeping around the globe. Now, because of this, there are a lot of people, especially in the US, who are facing bankruptcy or eviction or having to really change the way they spend (or don't spend) what little money they have. The Banks, also having a hard time, also have to re asses what they do and how they do it. This is a major crossroads and should make a lot of people think very hard how they conduct themselves. Hardship of any kind, like the sort Tom's character faces when on that island should change the direction peoples lives are going in.

The same could be said for the people in New Orleans after Katrina and still now as a lot needs to be done to re build the communities and make peoples lives better than they were before such a disaster. If your in a situation of hardship and you are wondering why such things happen to you then you should look inward and ask yourself some very important questions, then adapt and do what you have to do to not only survive but break out from your Island and make a bid for freedom and do what you have to do, despite difficulties, problems and seemingly impossible odds. You could make a start by setting up your own business (not as difficult as you may think) simply set out what level of achievement you want and then use the resources on hand to get there, simple as that.

Be motivated and get off your Island, you can do it and it doesn't matter about your age of background. You're stood at the crossroads and looking at 4 directions, which one you take is up to you, but make the choice and go for it!

The Importance of Yeast in Wine Making

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

As you're probably well aware of by now, wine comes from grapes. The juice pressed out of the berries, the must, is fermented to produce alcohol. That's the macro view. If we zoom in, literally into the microscopic view, you might find that something less appealing is happening to your grape juice.

At the heart of wine making is the yeast, a creature so tiny (8/25,000ths of an inch in size) you'll wonder how it can turn juice into wine. This wee, one-celled, living thing is not a miracle worker; by simply existing, this fungus can singlehandedly make or break a winemaker.

Wine is created when the yeast feeds on the sugar in the must. In a simplistic sense, the yeast digests the sugar and eliminates the wastes of its feeding, which are alcohol and carbon dioxide. Some scientists have a perfectly acceptable, scientific explanation: it's the enzymes that yeast cells produce which transforms the sugar in the fruit juice into wine.

Whatever the process or however it may go, there's still one star in the winemaking show: the yeast.

Use the Best Yeast to Turn Fruit Juice into Wine

In the beginning, there was neither science nor art in wine making. Man, as a matter of fact, stumbled upon it quite by accident. After a late night, some fortunate soul must have left out some grape juice in the open. Wild yeasts came and ate the sugar. The forgotten juice must've been found later, smelling sour; but loath to waste food, man consumed it anyway. He didn't die from the experience; in fact, he must have found it a pleasant one and from that time on, he was preserving grape juice in this novel way.

These days, man has evolved wine making into an art and a science. Science, because he has identified and isolated the best type of yeast to use in making wines; and art, because he has discovered the ways and means to tweaking the process to produce a superior wine.

There are about 15 known genera of yeasts that are perfect for wine making. The best genus is the Saccharomyces, which is used for making alcoholic beverages like beer and wine, and for making bread. Of the 7 species in this genus, the cervisiae strain is the vintner's best friend.

Cervisiae is at its best when the temperature is around 30°C. At this level, they begin multiplying and feeding on all the oxygen and nutrients found in the must, thereby producing alcohol. The cervisiae colony soon plateaus or dies, and the wine is almost done. There are some strains though that can keep on feeding on the remaining nutrients and oxygen, eventually ruining the wine.

Winemakers make sure that cervisiae dominates the fermentation process with the addition of sulfite to the freshly-crushed grape. They may also cut off the supply of oxygen in the vats, lower temperatures, or stabilize the wine to weaken undesirable yeasts.

Pasteurization remains to be the best way to kill off unwanted yeasts but winemakers eschew the process as it ruins the must. Instead, wild yeasts found in their vineyards are left to act on the must and they just fiddle with it during the fermentation.

There is much value, though, to using cultured yeasts. Wine making has become accessible to the neophyte vintner who doesn't have large tracts of vineyards and huge stainless steel vats. She/he can now produce wine right off the kitchen. What's best, she/he can decide on the wine's character, color, or flavor, among other things.

Romantic process or not, veteran vintner or newbie, one thing still remains: the yeast is still the ultimate winemaker. Anything or anyone else is an 'add on'.

8 Key Character Traits That Make a Great Leader

,
HOW TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS :

There are certain character traits found in all good leaders and we have listed 8 key ones below.

Some great leaders are born and it is their destiny to lead. On the other hand, there are other great leaders who made the time and effort to become one and you can to.

If you think you're not quite the finished article as a leader, then this article is for you.

Here the 8 character traits that all great leaders possess.

1. Trust & Respect

If you lead you don't need to be liked on a personal level (although most good leaders are)
You simply need to have the characteristics that make you trusted and respected in the leadership role that have assumed.

There is a key difference between generating respect and trust and being liked personally.
People don't have to like you to trust and respect you.

Many people who know nothing about leadership try to hard to be liked on a personal level and this leads to ineffective leadership as their goal of being liked interferes and weakens their role as leader.

2. Communication

Leading on from the above you need to be able to communicate with your team and treat them with respect, encourage and be firm when needed.

A good leader tries to get the best out of their team by being understanding them, inspiring them and rewarding effort. A good leader never rules by fear.

A good leader however needs to firm and stop anyone from upsetting the team reaching its ultimate goal and take swift decisive action when it does.

3. Enthusiastic

Good leaders always have the character trait of enthusiasm about getting the job done.
People will respect a person who shows hard work, passion and dedication.

Leaders are there to motivate and inspire and people will respond to these character traits.

Although the roles of a leader may be different, the leader is the leader of the team and the team will only get behind someone they see as "one of them" and able to muck in with the them.

4. Confidence.

If you are not confident you wont get anywhere as a leader.

Rock solid confidence in your ability is a must to inspire dedication, trust and hard work from your team.
Confidence should not be confused with arrogance.

Arrogance shows a non team player and will cause resentment.

Most great leaders have a combination of confidence and humility.

5. A Cool Head

When things are going wrong you look for a leader to take control of the situation.

They need to show confidence, but do so in a cool, calm collected manner with the aim to putting things right or getting the job done.

No matter what the situation a good leader never loses his cool and this is critical to maintaining team confidence when the chips are down.

6. Focus on Key Elements

A good leader thinks analytically and can view the overall goal or aim, but also break down the sub elements of what needs to be done to reach the goal.

They organize, prioritize and workout the smaller parts into a logical pattern to reach the ultimate goal in the best possible manner.

7. Motivation & Innovation

A good leader is always looking to improve and to innovate to get better results even when things are going well a true leader is looking to take himself and his team to the next level.

8. Improve Their Skills

Leading on from the above, a good leader will know they are not perfect (no one is) and they will be constantly trying to improve their skills and look at their past results no matter how good they were and see how they could have done better.

The above character traits are ones that all great leaders have and you can to if you dedicate yourself to becoming a leader - You never know you may even become a great one.
